April also coincides with the Everest climbing season, adding an incredible atmosphere to the Khumbu as expedition teams prepare for their summit attempts.

The ultimate reward comes as you stand at Everest Base Camp, surrounded by the immense Khumbu landscape. For an even higher perspective, the journey can include an early-morning ascent of Kala Patthar (5,545m) for one of the most spectacular sunrise views of Everest.
