The journey reaches its first major highlight at Poon Hill (3,210m), where an early-morning climb rewards you with a spectacular sunrise over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and the surrounding Himalayan giants. From there, the adventure continues deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary, eventually leading to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m, surrounded by a dramatic amphitheatre of some of Nepal’s most iconic peaks.
